Guests are welcomed at the Front desk at KARE and a detailed consultation is done with the doctors. Pulse diagnosis is conducted and a treatment plan is created for each guest.
At KARE, guests wake up to the chirping of birds. Herbal tea is served at 6:30 am in each guest’s cottage.
The first yoga session starts at 7 am and is a dynamic yoga session. Our class is structured such that people of all levels, experience and ages can participate and receive benefits from this class. This session is for 2 hours followed by breakfast at 9 am.
Thereafter the guest undegoes the prescribed Massage Therapy (Abhyangam) based on the Doctor’s recommendation. This may also be supplemented with Therapies such as Shirodhara, Herbal steam, Powder Massage or other customized treatments.
Lunch is served at 1 pm in line with the guidelines of Ayurveda.
Relaxing and restorative yoga starts at 3pm. This is specifically designed such that it can be done after lunch.
At 4:30 pm, a localized treatment of a specific part of the body that requires medical attention, is administered by a therapist. This typically lasts for 30 minutes, followed by evening tea and snacks.
After tea, we recommend walking, trekking, bird watching and familiarizing oneself with other KARE facilities. Various activities like cooking demos, ayurveda talks and video presentations are also conducted by the KARE staff.
Dinner is served at 7 pm. An early night ensures adequate sleep and rest.
